Huffman Sarver was founded in 2012 with a clear objective: deliver remodeling projects through defined planning, transparent communication, and controlled execution.

What began as Huffman Construction has evolved into a structured design-build firm serving homeowners and businesses across Northwest Ohio.

Today, we manage kitchen renovations, bathroom remodels, basement finishing, home additions, whole-home transformations, cabinetry projects, outdoor living construction, and light commercial build-outs — all guided by disciplined planning and accountable leadership.

Our Leadership

Huffman Sarver is led by Pete Huffman and Grant Sarver, bringing over 40 years of combined construction experience.

Pete Huffman

Pete focuses on structured estimating, defined scope development, budget alignment, and overall company stability.

His responsibilities include:

Clear and upfront estimation
Establishing realistic budgets
Maintaining cost alignment throughout construction
Oversight of scheduling and financial structure
Long-term company stability

Pete Huffman holds the Home Remodeling Contractor License through the City of Toledo and maintains licensing and registration within:

City of Toledo
City of Oregon
City of Maumee
Lucas County
Wood County

He also holds an OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety and Health Certification.

Through the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification), Pete holds the following certifications:

Grant Sarver

Design-Build Integration

We operate under a structured design-build model, meaning planning and construction are aligned from the beginning.

For many residential projects, permit-level documentation is prepared in-house. For larger structural or commercial projects requiring stamped drawings, we coordinate directly with licensed architects and engineers.

The objective is efficiency without sacrificing compliance or structural accuracy.

Fully Licensed & Insured

Huffman Sarver is fully licensed and insured and maintains compliance with municipal and county regulations throughout Northwest Ohio.

We coordinate directly with local municipalities to ensure permit accuracy and inspection alignment across residential and commercial projects.
